I grew some Pes Tigrids for Ron that turned out to be cleistogamic. We discovered that, when I kept getting so excited over a bud that kept getting bigger and bigger then one day popped out some seeds. Uh .. did I miss the flower?. It happened again and again and Ron finally determined it must be cleistogamic.
It was a slow day today and there was this Pes Tigridis bud. After my rousing success in unmasking Vigna Caracalla I felt cocky enough to take on Pes Tigridis's cleistogamic flower.
So here we are .. please note that the picture has had the contrast whomped way up for detail.
