Love the darling double pink! I am also partial to l-o-n-g tendrils and deep colors.

Good job Ada, so happy for you that you are getting to enjoy blooms after waiting all summer.

I too have lost a Cherokee red dogwood and redbud trees, both many years old, due to the drought.

Ada, your brugs. are gorgeous. I am anxiosly awaiting some blooms before frost on some of my seedlings. However those nasty broad mites have hit in full force, attacking some of my special brugs. that have not had one mite attack before now.
In fact I spent the morning out spraying today.

I love that double pink seedling of Kells and also her pure love. Unfortunately I lost mine last winter when we went through our Calif. freeze, but it is gorgeous.

We are finally staying down in a range from the 70's to 80's and I am hoping for a long Fall so that I too can see some blooms.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Elva, Gloria and Patricia.

Gloria, I hope we both get some rain soon.

Patricia, hope you get rid of those mites and get to see some blooms on your seedlings real soon.

Ada, you can have some of the rain we've been getting. It's been the wettest summer I can remember ever around here. We had really hight winds on Saturday which defoliated all the brugs that I hadn't brought into the gh.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Send it down, Jeanne. LOL We could sure use it.

I wish I could send it to you.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I do too, Jeanne. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Geez, I really do not have a mind left. I told Donna I didn't remember you having a double PINK from me. I love looking at all your flowers, Miss Ada. Makes me want to run out and foliar feed the seedlings I have in my hoophouse. Give them a boost. I swear I can feel SPRING in the air.

Oh Patricia, you lost Pure Love? Did I replace it yet? I am happy too at our next lunch. That one is such a special brug I sure do not want it to disappear.

Kell, I will ask you for a cutting of Pure Love this Spring. I can't seem to root anything during the winter.
