Bug Files says it doesn't reconize the family Colletidae nor the order Hymenoptera.

That is because we have no previous entries for the family Colletidae. I have now introduced the family, by creating an entry for Colletes halophilus here: http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/4898/

If you go ahead and add your images and information to that page, I will select one of your images to illustrate the family in the index,
