Wondering what this is .....

I am hoping someone can give me an ID for this one. It has both purple and blue in the blooms. All the blooms are remaining consistent.

And while I am at it, I also have this vine. Should it be called Yaguruma Blizzard?

Becky, those photos are great.. you are taking fantastic shots.

Thanks Karla and Antoinette!

Emma is thinking that these are Yaguruma Blizzard. Name seems to describe them and the blooms are staying true on this vine.

The first vine I have NO IDEA what it is. What you are seeing in the photos is what I am seeing with my naked eyes. The blooms open with that nice blue with purple rays and is purple on the underside of the bloom. As the day goes on it turns more purple. It's a really attractive bloom that is large and showy. I just don't have a clue what it might be. Neither does Emma.

Karla - Is your seiun bloom color more blue or purple? In your photo it looks more of a lighter blue.

Greenwich, OH

Hello:Becky the color is a lighter blue. What is the name of your purple morning glory?
pretty! color.

Karla - If you are talking about the blue & purple blooms shown in my first FIVE posts .... that is what I was hoping someone here on this forum could tell me. LOL! They are all from the same vine.

I don't have a clue what it is and am trying to find out. (Hence the reason for this thread.) Hopefully someone will recognize it and give me a cultivar name.

Becky, don't know the name for the blue but it's a looker with all the ruffles.
I love the Blizzard flower below.

Jackie - The Yaguruma Blizzard is one of my favorites and it is just loaded with blooms every day! It's really a lush and beautiful vine, too!!! I hope it produces a LOT of seeds from all those blooms. This one is worth sharing!!!

I sure hope someone can give me an ID for my 1-5 photos mystery MG!

Becky - I just had anther member Holly1357 send me very similar blooms to ID...

A couple possibilities include variants of
Akathukinoumi

although there is the definite accentuated purple hue to yours along with the somewhat smaller white around the throat area...

Thanks Ron!

There is definitely a bit of a resemblence to Akathukinoumi. Though the colors on my blooms are very deep bluish-purple with that white throat. Whatever it is ..... it's quite stunning! The blooms are large and flop over like Lady Laura "Pink Form" that I am growing out. It has very rich-looking satin blooms with variegated leaves. After wilting it turns a plum color.

The blooms have been consistent every day! The only thing I see that is a little unusual is that some of the blooms are huge (5" - 6") and others are only 3". Doesn't happen a lot, but those occasional small blooms do show up. They look just like the larger blooms. Here is one of today's blooms.

The smaller bloom phenomenon just happens...I get it on different plants...remember this is tissue that grows very fast and expands very rapidly and nuances in the plants metabolism and/or the weather can produce corresponding fluctuations in the bloom size...

Hmmm .... we've been getting a lot of rain lately. And I have it in more of a shady spot currently. Maybe I need to rotate the containers around so that the 2 containers ( 8 total vines) get moved to more sun. Thanks for bringing that up, Ron! Good point!!!
