Ron the one from last year bloomed but no photos due to rain storm. so mad. albievenia but it did bloom and they looked like moonflower type flowers. it had 3 on it. maybe seeds will form.

question though this plant has tons of ants but no aphids on it. seems to help the plant. is this normal for it???

and one last pretty till i get the rest loaded

this purple dainty thing really surprised me because it was an unknown seed in the bottom of the bag but its pretty.

Marie - Is this one that I sent you that originally had the species and ID number on it

Can you get a closeup of the sepals on this one
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3998436
some of these rare ones are not fully identified and that's one of the things I was hoping to do...

This one
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3998469
is a native of the US Southwest and is Ipomoea ternifolia as entered in the PlantFiles here

The ants feed on the extrafloral nectaries...here's a link with some info...

Ron

the orange one was labled possible Ipomoea coccinea??

thats all it was labled as. this is one from the prevoius batch of seeds i believe.

but the Ipomoea coccinea has a yellow throat doesnt it.

we have some wild ones that look like this one and i will try to check them tommorow to see if they are solid orange like this one.

and i will get a better shot of the leaves if it isnt raining. which i wont hollor if it does rain.

The seedpods in the photo above are Ipomoea hederifolia...but I sent you several hederifolia from different parts of the world...

Please (!) try to save the freshened up multiplied seeds and hopefully I'll be able to re-figure out the geo-types through later additional growouts...
