OK...I dug , washed, divided, labeled each one. Then I washed them again, wrapped them in moist paper towels and then in plastic wrap. They are now sitting waiting to go into the box's which will be mailed out first thing tomorrow morning.
The green fans at the top will not be green! They have been trimmed and are already turning yellow. Not to worry!! It is the roots that count at this point. I have been very careful to make sure all the plants have a good root system so they should settle in if planted right away. Please soak the roots for an hour before planting and water well after planting.

Celeste,
Thank you so much for the plants AND the instructions on how to help them flourish in their transplant! I did not get the envelope in the mail when I thought I would, I missed the mail carrier, it will go Monday.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

You have a dmail, Celeste :-)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

All the box's went out today and to be honest those plants look terrible on top! LOL The roots are fine...just give them a good drink before planting and water for a few days after. It has been 78, 80, 82 degrees here the last few days. Unusually warm and the daylilies weren't liking being out of dirt in this heat.

Michaela, yours is the only one I didn't get out today. Need to wrap them up, then will try to get them out tomorrow.

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

thank you so much:)

How very generous and thoughtful of you, Celeste! Thanks so very much.......and I, too, appreciate your directions on what to do when they arrive. You spent a lot of time doing this for us.........I look forward to returning the kindness when I have something good to send your way!

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Celeste: - )

this is so very exciting....i planted my daylilies you sent and they are starting to grow...whoooo hooooooo; thank you again so much:)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Your welcome Joni....that is one advantage you have over the rest of us, warm weather to watch them grow. It's getting colder here in the North, 39 when I got up this morning. The DL are going to sleep here!!!

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Pixie, my DL's are going to sleep. EVen my Stella de Oro that have been in the ground for MONTHS are starting to yellow a little.

belleville, NJ(Zone 6a)

every one of the fans you sent me has some new green growth on it - ahoya has quite a lot. i guess it's "one more party before bedtime" here in CT!

It's the same with mine. And they all look so healthy!! Thanks, Celeste, for sending us so much dellight to look forward to next season.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

I second and third that, Celeste!! Mine are looking good and I just can't wait to see them do their thing in the spring and summer!! You are so very generous in sharing the bounty of your beds!!!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I was hoping that the roots being big and healthy would take right away and they would survive for all of you. I guess the real test will be this winter......here's hoping they all come back for ALL of you!! I have learned w/DL that usually if the roots are good and they have enough time to settle in.......they can survive anything! Even a full sized Toyota Tundra running over them the first week in May.......they still bloomed in July!!!!

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

NOW those are mighty warrior DL to survive that kind of assault! The real question is... is the person who DROVE the Toyota Tundra over them still alive after YOU caught up to them??? LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes, it was my own DH trying to deliver my seedling greenhouse. I forgave him when the DL's and the Iris's bloomed.
