Thanks! I enjoy taking them. After I finished shooting, I placed them on a hibiscus in the greenhouse.

Thanks .. I found lots of ladybug eggs and kept 1 set in my bug house and waited for them to hatch .. the rest I put in the greenhouse.

I was going to ask, do you purchase the eggs and raise them? This year is my first year in gardening, I learned from DG to recognize ladybugs' lavaes. Since I was able to allow them to thrive in my garden, and helped me to keep my aphids' population down. Your posting is informative to others. I was hoping you'd keep it "open" so others can visit and learn to differentiate b/w bad/good bugs in our garden.

Cool photo's!!!!!!!!!!!! Esepcially the newly hatchlings not turned yet. Don't know if I ever saw anybody with a photo of them in that exact stage before.

Sure hope ya got alot of aphids for them to feed on. : )
