Wow, you sure can get some great pictures! Will you turn them loose in the greenhouse?
Thanks! I enjoy taking them. After I finished shooting, I placed them on a hibiscus in the greenhouse.

Thanks .. I found lots of ladybug eggs and kept 1 set in my bug house and waited for them to hatch .. the rest I put in the greenhouse.

X,
I was going to ask, do you purchase the eggs and raise them? This year is my first year in gardening, I learned from DG to recognize ladybugs' lavaes. Since I was able to allow them to thrive in my garden, and helped me to keep my aphids' population down. Your posting is informative to others. I was hoping you'd keep it "open" so others can visit and learn to differentiate b/w bad/good bugs in our garden.
Kim
I collect them off my confederate rose bush.

Ah, look at who is going to do a throurough search of the Conferate Rose bush this AM. lol.
Thanks.
Cool photo's!!!!!!!!!!!! Esepcially the newly hatchlings not turned yet. Don't know if I ever saw anybody with a photo of them in that exact stage before.
Sure hope ya got alot of aphids for them to feed on. : )
Thanks for sharing the photo's.
Thanks! I'd like to find a ladybug in the process of laying them and then shoot a series from start to finish.

OUtstanding!
