Can anyone tell me how to save seeds. If you have pics that would help too :o)

Gomphrena globosa 'Strawberry Fields'
I've just let the flowerheads get dry and crumble them to a paper plate to dry a bit more then I bag them. I recieved some in one of the seed swaps that had the seed still attached to the "petal" which had retained a tinge of pink (it was Strawberry Fields too). That's one of those that you end up having chaff with.
Connie,
The papery covering will disintegrate in the soil so just plant the whole thing. Just let them dry out enough before bagging.

I pick the whole head. You can plant it in one piece or you can shred it between fingers and just sprinkle the seeds/chaff. If you are sharing seed, I like to pick some with color. It will remain the color and the recipient can see what color it will be. Picture of the plant? No photo of the seeds handy... http://davesgarden.com/community/journals/si/107437/
