we have a LOT of preying mantids in the yard in southern California, but all are California Mantids- fat-bodied, arching things with huge front legs.. .but this is obviously a different species. This has a thin, long body with a curious little 'bow' on its back, and skinny prey legs.
CLOSED: Mantis
Very interesting mantid! I explored and couldn't find a good match ... hopefully someone else will be able to help.
