Katydid: Tettigonidae possibly Tettigonia viridissima
azrobin, your katydid is in the genus Insara, probably Insara elegans
Thank you, Clay! Indeed it is. There was no listing in BugFiles so good ol' Google lead me to this Elegant Bush Katydid:
