HA HA, CAUGHT by AuntB!

Well, unfortunately, I am in love with the Brug but if it's not easy to get to bloom and is going to be $33 incl. s&h for a 3 inch tall Brug, I think I'll have to pass. :)

I had a Herrenhauser Garten brug for three years. First year, no blooms, second year two blooms, but small, and the third year it had two or three blooms, but only one of them opened before frost and it had seven skirts and no stigma or anthers. I either gave it away or threw it away, I don't remember. It wasn't worth the room it took up in the garage over the winter nor was it worth the work keeping it fed, watered, and sprayed to only get so few blooms from it. JMO. I did hear of one person in BC that had fairly good luck getting her HG to bloom.

Well, it wasn't me! LOL!! I got a HG this year, and I'm hopeful that it flowers next year!

I was under the understanding it wasn't worth having! Amazing how several ebay sellers use the same pic for that one and they sell it for such a high price. What a rip off.

i'm glad i stopped bidding on it

Those pics look great! I only have the white. I have plenty of seeds if you guys want some. It grew beautifully all summer. Now with the cooler weather, it's starting to go......................have to make some room in the house for seedlings.
