Just got back from an overnighter to the coast.
Very nice adel; that must have been a fun trip!
?, ??, ???: Red-necked Phalarope (first-winter immatures) . . . VERY nice!
????: Western Gull, first-winter immature
?????: What a scabby horror! Probably a second-winter hybrid Western × Glaucous-winged Gull (this hybrid combination is quite common in parts of the PNW)
Gull with obsessive compulsive disorder: Western Gull, first-winter immature
"A trio": 2 Western Gulls, Turkey Vulture
??????: Western Gull, first-winter immature

Very nice adel; what a great place!
New Set
?: Probably Western × Glaucous-winged hybrid, tho' closer to Western.
?/?, ???: Starling, juvenile moulting to adult winter.
?/?/?/?, /?: Great Blue Heron, immature.
Egret: Great Egret.
Cresent City,Ca: Western Gull, year-old (first summer moulting to second-winter) immatures.
Immature Western Gull ?: First-winter Herring Gull (note less stout bill than Western Gulls), and pattern on tertial feathers
Another scabby horror?: Yes!! First-summer Glaucous-winged Gull (compare the pic in Sibley's Bird Guide, p. 221, almost identical!)

Thanks again Resin. I thought that one might be an immature starling, but I thought they were always in a flock and this one was the only one I saw in the area.

Usually, yes, but they do sometimes get lost!
Since they have declined so much over here, it is rather more often that I see lone Starlings now than I used to years ago.
