got a call from the local Mom and Pop store to come see this catterpillar.. Can anyone tell me what it is? I told them I did not know buy you all would...

Hickory Horned Devil Caterpillar. It is looking for a place to pupate. It will be a Regal Moth. Put it in a deep container of dirt to pupate over winter or release it please.
I have 12 I rasied to release next spring. Link to the Moth I raised over summer.
