Preparing for next year 2008

Eleanor - I saved saucers of differently colored impatiens long ago. Woke up in the morning to find the kitchen floor covered with seeds. They had exploded during the night with the warmth of the house: what a mess!

For any plants that you want the seed pods to dry on the plant, just slip an old knee high stocking over the pods.

Loretta - The fence of our neighbor is about 10' as was the friends with the B & B. I'd put up double the amount of steel posts if I'm faced with the problem. Now is the time they're establishing their grazing patterns for the winter so I'm hoping they choose another area.

I used all my stockings to tie the plants that got leggy.

You do start early, don't you?

Pirl - thanks so much. I may have to get knee highs from Victor though, cause I don't wear them (I'm a blue jeans, sneaker & sock girl)!! Could you save me some for next year Victor?? Eleanor

If Joe Namath was okay with them...
