Hi Julie
Got my "Christmas" box. Love the plants and have them potted up till it cools off here enough to plant without burning the roots. Ground still gets pretty hot. Let me know if you want postage Paypal or mail.
Thanks again,
Jan...
Thanks to everyone for their kind words - I really enjoy sharing my babies, & knowing that they will be there for someone else to enjoy :)
Happy Anniversary Susan!
Hi everyone. If you have'nt read my new thread JRUSH please open a plant shipping business please go to it and give Julie your input.
Debbie
i wanna see a box with bows on it....anyone take photos??
No, each little plant was carefully swathed in a wet towel and then wrapped neatly with plastic. The plastic wrap was safely secured with a bow of ribbon. I am not exaggerating. (Yes, I have been know to do that and tease terribly, but this time its the honest truth!) Nope no pictures here.
I'm Pat's witness! The "naming" ribbons were so pretty I left them on a couple of plants I got from her!
Hey I've copied several ideas I got in here!. I doubt if Julie will mind if you start doing yours that way.
I don't even know how I got started with the ribbons - it seemed like a good way to hold the plastic shut, so I could keep the roots moister for their trip. Copy away - it really makes it fun to put the trades together when you dress them up a little :)
Hi Julie, any of these left for postage?
Geranium - Apple Blossom Rosebud - 2 plants
Rosa Rugosa - 1 pink

Hi Julie
I just want to let you know that the begonia that you sent me "My Special Angel" is Blooming..I have it setting in my kitchen window...I love it...Thank You...Pauletta
Hi Julie,
Wanted to say thanks again, the geranium cutting has sprouted a leaf, and the plant is doing just fine. Cathy
Julie,
Anything is welcome here. But I am especially interested in your Rose of Sharon and your Iris.
Carol
I am really late finding this, but do you have any stonecrop still available? My autumn joy plant seems to be the most hardy in my garden. (Here in GA we are in a record setting drought and had temps of 105 degrees for a week this summer! We usually only get to about 95) Anyway, I've decided that I'd love to cover my yard with as many kinds of sedum as possible. I couldn't find anything on the "Lavender" variety, but I would sure love some. I can send you a baby hellebore, or postage if you like.
Catherine
Pauletta - That is great! The flowers are so pretty - It should continue to bloom for another month or so yet.
Cathy4 - Someday that Geranium will make you the envy of your friends :)
Ladysaltfire- I think it would be best to wait until next Spring at this point. I am not certain if the plants would have the opportunity to form adequate roots before the really cold weather comes. I can offer other colors of Iris then too. I always have the Rose of Sharons & Iris to offer!
3gardeners - Again - I would wait until Spring. I will also have a deep purple Stonecrop by then too, which is really pretty. I am trying to root several, but I can always take cuttings from the Mama plant next year. The plants have already been hit by the frost.
I guess it is time to close this thread!
Thank you all for taking such good care of my plants, & hopefully they will all grow into beautiful plants someday :)
Julie
