Tropical Gardening is working on one, too.
Any ideas for CA Forum?
Forum T Shirts
A Happy Faced Daisy on a tye-die background saying "Groovy". What?...no?
LOL! "Groovy...Dude"
Wow! Dude is a nice touch.
I'm getting frightened! I think we need someone elses opinion!
Let's see...how about California cows in a meadow?
Isn't anybody else going to play?
An unnamed friend of California Dmailed me with the following suggestions:
1. California Dreamer's go to Dave's Garden on a Winter's day.
2. No Bridge wide enough to keep me from Dave's Garden. (picture of San F. Bridge or one in your area)
3. Bridge The Gap @ Dave's Garden (another bridge picture)
4. California Gardener's plant them selfs @ Dave's Garden
5. Beach yourself @ Dave's Garden
6. Californians are a tropical colorful bunch!
7. California grows great gardener's @ Dave's Garden
8. California grow's the best gardeners @ Dave's garden
It occurred to me that some folks don't know about the 'store' Dave set up at zazzle.com - http://www.zazzle.com/davesgarden
You can order whatever you like with the DG logo on it - you're not limited to a plain old guy's t-shirt. I just thought perhaps one of our talented people could come up with a design specific to CA. Apparently, you can make special orders at the DG store (add or delete an image, for example), or set up a new store. The owner of the store gets a kickback on what's ordered.
Seems awfully quiet around here.

Hello Kaperc! Welcome PotEmUp! -
Not just guys t-shirts you say? Is there some kind of canvas bag we could do? Something to use when going to the nursery. I like #1 for the words with the poppy picture. OOOh. I just enlarged the poppies and love what they say! I'm game! It seems like we can have a variety of t-shirts or something from what shows on the link you posted. No, I didn't know about the DG'store'. I'll explore it in detail later tonight. I am very excited about a t-shirt or something with DG on it.

PotEmUp, I forgot to say that those poppies are beautiful.
I couldn't figure out what the font used for the original lettering was -- maybe not one of their fonts? Maybe it is graphic instead?

kaperc, thanks, no I didn't know there was a Zazzle store! The bags, pocketed apron, and sweatshirt (found it in the Men's garments) are all very tempting!
I like California Dreamin' @ Daves Garden with the poppy picture
Yep - me too!
California Dreamin @ Dave's Garden with the poppies is perfect!
Pretty cool, George. You could wear it while driving an M.G., no?
Sherry
Yeah - With the top down and cute blonde next to me.
You know the one - She is wearing a yellow polka dot bikini.
I love it!
George, I sure hope that cute blonde is your wife....I'll be sure to ask her if she has a yellow polka dot bikini!
Forget t-shirts...do them on wife beaters ! LOL
(Just kidding...)
Well, after 41 years, I am afraid the yellow polka dot bikini ain't so Itsy Bitsy as it used to be, but definitely only one blonde will be next to me in the MG.
2 3 4 tell the people what she wore!
Dating yourself again, Mike!

Did you see clear to the right a couple of arrow-clicks, the last four options in Men's and three of last four in Women's for Pot'Em's shirts are high-tech fabric... my wallet is starting to open, inexplicably...

Ooooh, you're making it hard to resist, 'spin! I like the one with thermal sleeves, too.
Nice job George, I like it!
When I first posted the shirt, it really was just a lark. I did not read the fine print at Zazzle. Not that I am going to retire on this, but I am actually making a little bit of money on the sale of these shirts. It appears that they now have a program where you can set the percentage you want to make. The higher the percentage, the higher the price of the product.
The program seems like a very reasonably priced system. A good way to promote yourself and them. I noticed they now have even more improved "models"
Zazzle seems to be a good company, DG has it's new 2998 calendar up with the photo contest winners along with a few other items.

I put in a request for a flower pot mug. Here's one at Lee Valley, one of my favorite places! http://www.leevalley.com/gifts/page.aspx?c=2&p=50430&cat=4,104,53213
I bought a DG flower pot mug last year when he was clearing out the rest of his stock.
I should have said I put the request in to Zazzle.com - Dave won't offer them again, as there was too much breakage in shipping.
Wow! Amazing at how time flies - a calendar for 2998, already. ;-}
The calendars look really nice. My wife's quilt group just had calendars made as fund raiser - not very attractive. Small photos with large background in uncomplementary colors.
If you belong to Costco, you can get your own made, just like these at snapfish http://www.snapfish.com/storecalendars for $9.99 for the small and $17.99 for the large.
Zazzle really does have a pretty extensive variety of items, and you can make your own one of a kind creation. Pretty kewl!
I've been having fun with Zazzle lately making Christmas gifts--I made a wine country calendar for my Dad using pictures that I took of wineries in Napa/Sonoma/Livermore, I made a set of notecards for my Mom with scenes from the CA coast (her favorite place to go when they visit), and I found a pretty poinsettia picture that I took a couple years ago and made my own holiday cards using it. Next thing you know I'll probably be making t-shirts with my dog's picture on them or something!
Great tip George about the Costco ones, I have been wanting to make one with some of my favorite shots but always thought it came out too expensive. Think I will now go check it out.
Beautiful shot Liz and what fun and personal gifts too.
