I found this thingy and many others on my cherry tree leaves. It's hard and seems to have broken open.
Hoping someone here can figure out what it is. Doesn't seem to be hurting the tree. Anybody have any ideas?

I'll see if I can take a better picture. My camera has been acting up when it comes to real close up shots. I'll do my best.

Mine doesn't do good close-ups either, I have to stand back a bit and then crop it with an editing program....like Picasa2.
