Now Makshi, I know I helped with the clues, but I need to put my thinking cap on for that first one!!!

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Give us clue about the 2nd clue!!!! Please!!! Does it refer to where the member lives and it's raining there?????? Lou

(got the first one and had it on my card. Yah)

Very, very clever Makshi and Lin and lots of fun trying to figure it out. I deciphered both (if I'm right) and had both on my card.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Fun!

Could you please post the list of 35 choices at the top of the thread, please? Having the whole list of answers right there would make it a little easier to figure out the riddles... Thanks!

(Zone 1)

Lou ... Look at the names on the Master List again.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

The first one is all mixed together. I am having a very hard time getting into this forum. Is anyone else having the same problem. I think I have made everyone crazy and they are trying to zap me.

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

how are we suppose to figure this out? is it just a mispelling of the name or what? i can't figure it out.
mrsbonnie

(Zone 1)

Mrsbonnie: # 1 is just jumbled ... it just takes some concentrating and referring to the master list to figure it out.

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

ok got the first one but not sure on ethe 2nd one any more clues?

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

No more clues. The second one is a hit at what it is. Like Lin said the first is just jumbled up.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Is it raining at your house, Amy?

(Zone 1)

hee hee ..... Cute Snowrose!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Hmm... I read the hint for number 2 and thought, rain, hmm? at least it's not.... Hail... ;-)

Now, which one of us is closer to the real answer? I can make arguments for both!

(Zone 1)

:) Since I'm the cardholder, I know who has it on their cards and who doesn't!

13 of you have call # 2 on your cards .... think hard now!

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

Hey Hey; I finally got it, little slow you know. lol
got them both. at least i think i do
mrsbonnie

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

are you going to tell the right name of the call the next day?maybe the second one i did not get, not really sure.
mrsbonnie

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

No I am not going to give the right answer right now. Lets see who can get it without HELP for anyone.

ROFL You're gonna ROFL too when you find out that I got the first one right away, but it took me a couple hours to figure out the second one!!! :oP Very, very clever makshi!!

Northeast, NE(Zone 5a)

Well you know..I must be the slowest most dense person here.I have tried every which way to sunday to unscramble those letters to make a word and I have about pulled all my hair out trying.ARG!!! Makshi..I may need to borrow your hat : (

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Has anyone talked to Patti/Rose318 lately? I was wondering if the storms were very close to her.

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

YOU of all people, RainGazer.....!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Nancy, You know I should tell you all that it is more than one word.

Northeast, NE(Zone 5a)

Whew...thank you!! .that should help...lol..told ya I was slowwww

edited to add: Hey wait a minute..they are almost all more than one word : ))

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

LOL

Northeast, NE(Zone 5a)

Ding.....ding..ding..I GOT IT!!!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I think there's only one choice with a Y and 2 Ps....

I'm still not quite sure about #2. Probably I am over-thinking it! LOL

Of course, I'm hoping I know the answer... because then I'll have 2 checked off on my card! :-)

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Just read the clue and let it sink in. Sometimes when you leave it alone and do something else it will come to you.

I may be able to be bribed. :)

Isn't that hilarious, Beth!! I looked and looked at that list and just could not figure out what in the world it was!

Yay, Nancy!! Glad you got it!

critter, just think hard..it's one of those lateral-thinking kind of riddles. Clearly, I'm a bit slow at those. LOL

North Augusta, ON

bribes?? how bout a man that cooks??? i could send ya Hubby...

I'm sure I could find you a nice chrome hat, makshi...

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Three that will get you kicked out of the bingo game. NO HUSBANDS because I don't do well with them. Don't know how to pick them. I always go for the wrong one.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Chrome hat well I have to think about that one.

This message was edited Sep 5, 2007 5:15 PM

It's shiny! :o) Maybe a helmet-type hat with one of those pointy finial things on top! :oD

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

If I think about #2 as a riddle, I get one answer... and if I think about it maybe being somebody who has been talking about rain all summer and definitely lives way down south, then I get another answer! Because Makshi is tricksy, I am going with the riddle answer... :-)

Tricksy... LOL That reminds me of Gollum from Lord of the Rings! :o) I love those books and movies!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Remember I didn't do all of the riddle ones. What you think is a riddle may not be one. My dog says be careful.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Take a trip in the pet forum and maybe if you go back a ways you will find my babies name.

(Zone 1)

Hey Makshi: Should I give em another clue for #2?

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

The last clue was good, too. The dog that had hearing problems....
