Okay, so we have a concrete walkway in our front yard and a concrete patio in the back. It occured to me that we might be able to tear up both and replace them with gravel, instead of repaving them with clay pavers. But how practical would that be? The walkway in the front gets lots of foot traffic, of course. I'm just searching for alternatives to the nasty ugly concrete. (it really is ugly.. looks like a sidewalk). Would replacing them with a more drainable material be better for rainwater drainage?
