What happens if two closely related MGs that both have the double recessive gene for white are crossed with each other? Will they produce colours in F1?
I know from breeding rabbits (well rabbits are not MGs, I know) that a blue or red-eyed rabbit crossed with a black-eye rabbit will produce all kinds of coloured rabbits, but not white...
