My tray of MG pots

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

These little pots have Mgs in them and I am gonna hang them all up in my bare spots where my mom wanted color before she passed away few years ago. I bought all of these MG seeds from Emma Grace few years ago and put them in a dark cool closet to save them..95 % of them came up! so I am now going to finish my project she wanted me to do..and fix wire hangers next...

Good for you! How many vines do you have started, and which types? You'll have to post pictures once they are hanging.

Beautiful sight - they're so cute at that stage lol. I like the idea of hanging them all over the place - will Daisie Mae (spelling?) be grunting around beneath them?

Moodene, I hope you don't mind, but Daisymae is one of my favorite members of DG and deserves an introduction: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/614527/

Much of the Japanese aesthetic came from an older culture: China. And a major factor of long ago Chinese gardens was animals among incredible hardscaping of natural mountainous landscape reduced to scale of small gardens.

Anyhoo, you've inspired this mental picture of swaths of blooming morning glory vines falling down upon the garden floor from their aerial perches - I can just see Daisymae peeking out at us, her snout draped in something like Yuuzuki (Moon at Dusk?).

Thank you for the kind words. Daisymae is still here and being sassy. I am getting her some stuff ready to fix her up with to take pics..It has been raining so much that she hasn't been out too much this year..just cooling off in the shade. She did get in her mudhole when we didn't have rain for a week.
When I get back home from work today, I will post the names of the MGs that I started. I still have nearly 30 more MGs seeds to plant I think..LOL..

That DaisyMae is a cutie pie LOL. Does she participate in that popular TV game show "Squeal of Fortune"?

Too bad that MGs don't "squeak" like gladiolas or nasturtiums - what a duet we'd have from your garden, Moodene - Squeak & Squeal. Not too late to plant them, though...If Dave would only put in a sound feature with that new video feature he created for this site...

I hope you're laughing with me - I do love hogs and pigs - happy memories from an old family farm back in the late 40s & early 50s in North Carolina - a very euphoric time for the previous generation having survived the depression and WWII - GD had built that farmhouse in 1898 and it had stood empty with the wind blowing through it for a while during WWII while everyone was off and away fighting or supporting the war.
