My September Plumie Blooms
all are beautiful!
sigh you are soo lucky! or should i say just good at what you do! never had a plumie bloom for me, as im sure i have told you on a previous thread.
I have to say Clare, your Plumie pics are magnificent!
Some look like paintings.
I really wish that my TW blooms this year. It's the only part of what I received from Brad that survived. I'll take a picture of it, so that you can give me an evaluation. ;-)
Thanks, Teresa! It may still bloom for you this year so don't give up. It is a reliable bloomer for sure. Just give it plenty of sun, heat, and water. Your patience will be rewarded -- I promise.
Well, with only a couple of leaves, she needs to leaf out some more. What size container is it in? She'll flower in a five-gallon container easily. I think mine is in a 15-gallon now. Yours might need a little growth still, but it is hard to say.
She's in a 1 gallon at the moment, cuz she's not all that big.
She's really enjoying where she is and is setting more new leaves.
Hi Teresa, well, I think she will put on some growth first before she blooms. Once your plant gets to the five-gallon size, I think she will bloom reliably for you.
if u end up tossing it... D-mail me... i'd love one and i'd pay postage
diehardsouthrnr, this tree is fairly big, and I'll probably end up selling it to a nursery or landscaper to recoupe some of my expenditures with upkeep, etc. I don't like to cut my trees that I sell because the cut is usually apparent and looks bad and devalues the tree. I do, however, have two rooted center-cuts and two center-cut cuttings of 'Brad's White,' which are starting to root, for postage if you want them. Three of them have branches already started. I think I can fit them all into a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box if you are interested. Send me a dmail if you want them.
