I had to know what this woman had, it was fascinating and they didn't have an answer posted. As a kid I had a glowworm TOY! But there is an actual beetle that starts out like one! WOW! I want to add it to the bugfiles but not sure if that's ok because I didn't actually see one in my own backyard. But you should add it because it is a fantastic creature!
