This is getting embarrassing but loving it.....................you have already wished me a happy one on the other thread..................I do love my life!!! Friends from DG and family and friends are just the best!!!
Thanks again............

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

Haven't been on this forum lately, but noticed this on 'latest posts' so had to jump in and say, have a happy one, sweets!! (Ü)

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Thank you all................Nan..........haven't heard from you in forever.............do you still want hoyas...............have found them..............

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

Well, I"m pretty well 'stocked' on hoyas, and almost hate to get anything new (though not really! lol!) because I so fear not having enough room when everything comes in soon!
I dread it sooooo much. I think I'll start spraying and dunking plants this weekend. I was hoping to find some pure Neem oil to use as a soil drench...but not luck in my searches around here so far.

Thanks for thinking of me, though!

What I'd really like to find these days is a nice-sized one of those Polyscias called 'Fabian Aralia'.

Anything you're looking for?

Hope you went out and bought yourself a nice green birthday gift!!

Lin, doesn't she have the most beautiful bloom..........not getting rid of any of my small ones.........

What is a Fabian Aralia............can you lead me to a site to see what she looks like?

(Zone 1)

Here's Fabian Aralia: Fourth row down:

(Zone 1)

I found these two Aralia's at Wal-Mart ... just had to buy them at $3.00 each .... I love anything with variegated folliage!

edited to say: The tags just said "Aralia" and I haven't taken the time to do any research yet to see if I can find a cultivar name.

Lin, love those and I have several that are different from both of those..........

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Happy Birthday to you again Gail.Hope you had a great day!

(Zone 1)

You know, I bet if I were to ever take a Road Trip across the Continental U.S.A. I could find plants in every state that I'd want to buy and bring back home! Only thing is .... I would need a Semi with piggyback trailer's to cart my treasures home!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I have traveled the USA in a Winnebago with a covered trailer behind us looking for antiques......................why not do it for plants...........plants, at this point in my life, are a lot more precious than furniture (LOL)

(Zone 1)

Road Trip??? Ok Gail .... I'm ready .... are ya coming to Florida to pick me up? I don't drive on the interstate anymore but I make a great travelling companion! We could begin in Florida and head North to pick up a couple of other DG'ers along the way!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I want to go to several places along the way................Logees, Lyndon Lyons and i would be a very happer camper with just those two places............plus that nursery in Penn. with all the exotic plants.................remember that strep shown on here?

(Zone 1)

Oh Yeah ... All three of those places sound like places I could spend a lot of time visiting!

(Zone 8b)

Just saw it was your birthday gessigail and wanted to send birthday greetings. Wishing you a very happy birthday:))

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

thanks and I love the name, wreckamended!!!!!!!!!!!!

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

LOL....(Lin & Gail) you go girls!
I don't doubt you'll figure out a way to do it!

(Zone 1)

Oh Nan ... I wish, but I'm afraid a trip like that would put me in the poor house real quick! LOL. Gotta keep my priorities straight, gotta keep my priorities straight ... I've gotta keep telling myself that! Maybe if I were to win the Florida Lottery!

If I were to win the Lottery someday - first $$$$ off the top would of course have to go to Uncle Sam, (he'd TAKE his right away anyway!) .... next would go to charitable causes and the rest for me, hubby and family. I would hope to invest wisely and be able to have a house with a very large "Plant Room"!! LOL.

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

Well...maybe someday, eh?

My bosses have a semi.....I'd just have to get my CDL and a LOT of money!! LOL!!
(sigh)....dream on....but it does sound like fun!

So, Gessiegail....did you treat yourself on your day?

(Zone 1)

Hey Nan ... while I've got you here. This is a pic of a Hoya you gave me a cutting of in my very first trade here on DG! I don't remember the name of it. Think you can ID it from this pic? It hasn't bloomed yet and I know I've read on the Hoya forum it's almost impossible to ID without blooms but thought you might recognize it. It's one of my favorites ... I love the speckling in the leaves.
