I've had a Turks' Cap plant for 2 seasons now. I recently saw what looked like a fat red cherry. I believe that is its seed pod. My plant is really large so I'm wondering why hasnt it put out more pods all this time?
Also when can I harvest the seed?

That would be the seed pod. I would watch it and wait till it starts to appear dry.
Perhaps doesn't form seedpods if the blooms are not pollinated ~ I don't really know. Good luck ~ pod
