CLOSED: what kind of spider

I have these spiders all around my house I live in Hopewell,Nj and I just wan to know if they present any danger so I can tell mu kids to stay away. Ileave them alone since I am not sure of them. Thanks

It's that time of the year. we have scads of them. They are an orb weaver called Neoscona arabesa I think. They pretty much scoot off when there is movement around. I doubt they would bother your children. Some of them get pretty big though.
