What about a Species Pyrausta perrubralis - Pyralid Moth - Hodges#5064? Don't know the range however.

I think you found it Linda. I was looking at #5070 but it wasn't right.
I saw a lepidopterist's journal online that says "widely distributed to Arizona and Mexico in the south, but which has a ribbon-like range along the Pacific coast as fas as Vancouver Island"
