Does anyone have Iochromas?

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

Well a generous offer indeed... well that's the Lily I know... I might make such an offer in a month or two...as I'm trying to find a space for them downstairs.. here's a picture of the flowers... they look much the same all over the bush ..and have all summer... a seedling last winter.. and now a full flowering bush.. Gordon, how big does this plant get? In the Plantsfiles they appear to get as large as brugs, but I have also heard otherwise.

Spirit... mine is about 3' - 4' tall it's first year... so other than that I can't tell . it has smaller leaves.. and much smaller flowers... so the woody trunk and limbs don't have to be nearly as bigas a brug gets... now I've seen bigger brugs in Central America than I've been able to grow so I've no idea as to how big the Iochromas might get for some folks ..somewhere.. but I've heard they get to be a real big bush...
The picture is my little bush blooming away... about the first of June... it's maybe twice the size now... with many more branches to be blooming..all the time

Gorgeous Gordon!!
I love how they have the tendency to get bushy -- I guess I just like that fuller look. I bought mine earlier this summer and they were only about 6 inches tall when I got them. Now, there around 2 feet tall, so they do seem like fast growers.

I must be doing something wrong, I have too, all different colors, had some for over a year, they are all 3 to 4 feet tall, I have never seen one bloom. I am not bringing them in this fall. Maybe if I set them out by the compost bin it will encourage them to get busy.
