Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Miss Grace'
Hi Todd,
Nice tree. I planted my 'Miss Grace' in the ground this spring and, like yours, has nice bluish/green foliage. My 'MG' is planted near my species Metasequoia and the leaves are definitely a bluish color. Much different from the straight species tree.
I'll see if I can get a pic. I still owe you a pic of my 'Umbrellas' ginkgo. It has stopped raining so I should be able to get a pic.
Thanks,
Mike
Yeah, Mike...
I want to see that Ginkgo. How did your 'ardis' tulip tree do this year? Mine grew beautifully....
Todd
Dybbuk--Do you grow these trees in pots as specimens and do they survive outside over a Chicago (-20 degree) winter? I've been watching your Ginkgo posts and would love to grow one but don't have room to actually put one in the ground.
Although who knows with the weather bringing down mature trees, I may get a chance.
Obviously you have mastered 'tree in large pot' cultivation--could you post some general tips on how to be successful. Miss Grace is very nice.
thanks I always enjoy your comments--you too--Treelover3.
