Thank you, everyone! And for my birthday, I started 20 more seeds . . . we'll see how they turn out!

I was looking at the Scarlett O'Hara seeds I started a bit ago. Looks like one has a teenie-tiny bud on it. It will be nice to see the flower . . . I haven't heard anyone say anything about seeds from Lone Star seed-something company, so don't know how accurate their packet is. Out of the four vines, the leaves on one look a bit more elongated than the other three. I'll have to get batteries for my camera, then take pix of the leaves.

Well, may have to wait a bit for the SOH-maybe bud. DH decided he'd mow the back yard . . . 2 survived, 1 might. The 4th is just a small little stick.

Ron has given me hope about the Merremia tuberosa (didn't mention that in this thread), which was also a victim of the lawnmower. As for the SOH-maybe's, time will tell on the 3rd vine - 2 still look ok.

As for the seeds I started on Monday, I've already got some babies starting to poke thru the soil.
