Moroccan Morning Glory

Aschaffenburg, Germany

I thought I might add a local morning glory...I am not sure there are any Moroccan ones in the data base up to now. What's remarkable about this little bloomer, it's location is in the hot Moroccan sun, no protection....

As the sepals seem to be so indicative in determining to which species they exactly belong, I took a photo of the flowers, leaves, seed pods and seeds.

The sepals could be described as short and concave rather than convex at the ends.

And that's what it looks like at its location.

Martin - There's actually alot of Convolvulus species that are native to the general Mediterranean area and it looks like you've got one there

Convolvulus arvensis

Convolvulus species have a particular type of stigma that is split into 2 elongated parts...
