Caren, Thank you so much for the cuttings! Two of them already had nubbies. The Mountain Magic you sent me last November is doing great. She hasn't bloomed yet, but has all kinds of new growth and one long straight shoot that I hope gets large enough for me to make a standard out of her.
My two cuttings have 1/2" roots on them, how's that for fast?? Potted them up this morning! Very vigorous.

Can you all ( or a couple of you) tell me the best soil medium for the brugs, whether starting them of fully grown? Mine are rooting really well, too!
I use Miracle Grow, but not the moisture retaining one. I'd rather water more frequently than risk losing one to soil that stays too wet. So far, I haven't had any problems. When I lived in San Jose, I used Super Soil.
I do Miracle Gro as well. And have had that prob. with the water retaining kind too. I lost several hibiscus in the moisture control type as well. I use the regular Miracle Gro and have more brugs and hibbies than I can handle......almost. lol

I put mine in water on Thurs. and by Sunday it had roots sticking out almost a half inch!! So it's in the ground now.

They arrived! Thank you for the extra ones! They are in a mini bubbler I rigged up today. Cherub has some roots already when it got here. The other 2 have nubbies and they should have roots soon! Thank you so much for your generosity in sending these to all of us! I would not have any brugs if it were not for the gererous sharing of people like you! I am sure others would agree.

I got my package today! I HAVE to tell you how absolutely, possitively THRILLED I AM! You are such a sweetheart! I was just ooooing and awwwwing! Some have roots already and leaves too.
I'm now going to our hardware store to get some lovely soil for them and some nice new pots!
