CLOSED: Cicada .. but which one?

This guy literally ran into me last night and left a bruise!

Looks like a slightly moldy, Periodical Cicadas- Magicicada spp.

I stuck him in the freezer for 15 mintues so I could photograph him. He came to in about 20 minutes then left.

When I lived in Terre Haute there was a colony of cicada killers in my side yard. The guys in the entymology dept at ISU camped out for a week and even dug up a few nests. The deepest one was 2 feet deep.

They scared the beejeebers out of me the first time I saw them.
