I had to look up the latin name, but I'll never forget these moths. There were hundreds crawling around in a house I was working on years ago. They are pretty.

They are unique- I 've seen one or two. Eat Ailanthus, can we be so lucky? there's a feast for them around here!

I started looking closer around my Purple cone-flowers, and saw more lurking around....But right now, what doesn't come to these strong smelling, bug attracting flowers. My back yard is full of bugs right now.... Stay cool, or sweat trying.

That would be a perfect print pattern. ha.
Their wings look glossy -- instead of fine, dull, feathery...
They almost look like a beetle, but they give them selves away when they fly.
I'll wear mine, if you'll wear your's.
