As previously promised, I have some Sazanami light open pollinated seeds in packs of 3 seeds each to give away to the first 10 responders on the thread. Respond on the thread first then we can work out the rest though Dmail.
They are open pollinated seeds and they are tan in color. I thought some people might enjoy trying them out.
They may or may not look like the parent plant shown in the picture but it might be fun to give it a try. They are light blue blizzard flowers ranging from solid to varying degrees of blizzard with green variegated leaves and tan seeds.

I'm too late also,
but, Janis (Woofens), send me an D-mail and I'll send you some also.. I still have some that you shared with me a couple of years ago.. and soon will have some fresh stuff.
Byndeweed Beth is number 10 so nope you not too late. And Gourd you feel free to send seeds. It`s nice of you. We are free here. :)
So my seeds are officially out for now.
I would love to try some if you have any left.
Betty
I`m completely out until later on.
I am growing some more hand tied pods to see what happens at this moment. I planted them today.
Ya`ll enjoy your flowers. :)
It was fun doing the give away.
Karen,
Should we plant these upon receipt? or wait until next Spring? What is the bloom time from germination. If they have time to bloom I would like to plant them immediately. We normally have our first frost 10/25.

It will take about roughly 8 weeks for blooms to begin. So right when they are blooming it will be time for frost. I would wait until spring unless you can bring them inside and have a good place with enough light to allow them to finish blooming and making seeds.
ByndeweedBeth has grown them inside with great success with a big plant light.

Darn! That is a real beauty! Maybe I can catch the next go-round! And it's variegated too???
Karen
I bought these from maggieand guppy on ebay. She has always sent me good seeds.
These have green variegated vines and good sized flowers though not the giant flowers. They have solid and blizzard occuring on the same vine and lots of variations in pattern and color. They are very cool if I say so mysef and I hope the seeds selfed. It is very possible some cross pollination occured sice these were not tied and I haven`t been growing them so I can`t 100% guarantee but they should come out nice.
Everything is mailed exept one I need:
chef_tish , I need your mailing address.
Ok, now I`m going to take the break I was talking about for weeks lol. :)
I`ll be back for the F2 grow out. TTYL!
Thanks again!!!
Judy

Mine arrived today!! Thank you very much and how can I reimburse you for the postage??? Do you have PayPal??
Judy
I wanted to give 10 people a chance to try these for free. It was around 10 to 13 dollars for the entire give away so this was my small gift to DG. Enjoy them. :)

Karen,
How very generous of you!!
Judy
I remember a time when these were like a dream and I only wished I could grow these and this was my way of making it possible for others. You are welcome. :)
I`m also going to see if they will breed true and if they can be maintained. Time will tell. It sure doesn`t hurt to try.

Thank you so much for the seeds! Apparently I got them several days ago and hubby "forgot" to tell me. grrrrrr. I very much appreciate your generosity in sharing with us. It is always special to me to have "pass alongs" rather than to purchase them in the garden center. I have been introduced to so many different things here on DG that I otherwise would have never know existed. :^)
