Makshi, why don't you let my av plantlets be standards size since Bigrid is sending out full grown minis??????????????? remember these are just good growing plantlets that I started from leaves.....................I can throw in minis if you want me to.........

Oh, oh, I want to play!!! I almost missed out with being off visiting family out of state this month and not checking in regularly. I'll get my card off to rose318 right now. Looking forward to enjoying everyone's chatting (already am for that matter...) and all the fun!

I am really missing my plants, I'm pitiful, I'm on vacation and I'm missing my plants. LOL Missing the grandkids big time too though.

My youngest DS is in charge of watering and caring for my plants and I know he is diligent and really cares for the plants but I'm worried he's gonna forget a room or wait a day too long or some other oversight that will result in some sadness when I get home...Ah well, I'll enjoy getting everything back into shape when I get back. I'll let you all know how he does, maybe he can start a plant sitting service if I'm pleased with his efforts when I get home. LOL

things with hubby just keeps getting worse,,he went this morning far a ncs test.its a nerve and muscle diagnostic test,he wasn't to happy over it,they shock him 40 times,then tommorrow the bone marrow test,please pray they don't find what there thinking.
hes down to 139 lbs now.

Starfly/Eunice: You have really had your share of sadness this year. I know it must be awfully hard to cope at times, but just know that your friends here in the garden are sending up prayers and keeping good thoughts for you and your DH. Keep us posted as to how he's doing and tell him to hang in there - we are all pulling for him to get good news from the doctors.

I love Black Eyed Susans .... collected a bunch of seed from them last year and never planted the seed. Don't know how long they will be viable, maybe not be good anymore .... I don't know much about seeds. I planted two small plants a few years ago and they have spread .... would love to plant them all over the yard! They are so cherry!

It is going to be a BLAST!!! I can't wait....I said I would behave...but I LIED!!!

hehehe...Hi, Lynn..it is soo hot outside..what is your weather like? Can you even breath at the beach? I love Daytona!

Hey Susan: Yeah, it is hot! We've been having mid to high 90's for a couple of weeks with heat index in the triple digits! I was gone for 8 days to North Georgia to visit my sister and it was miserably hot up there! We have high humidity down here but at least we have the breezes off the Atlantic! I'm glad I'm back home ... yesterday they had a high of 103 in Atlanta! Our heat index here for two days was 110 ... I can just imagine what it must have been in Atlanta with a 1103 air temp and high humidity! Whereabouts is Braselton?? I know I've heard the name before but can't remember for sure what part of Ga it's in.

hee hee ... I haven't been to the beach in a loooong time! We are about a mile from Atlantic Avenue (A1A) and drive down that road but haven't actually gone on the beach in quite some time. They charge to drive on the beach here now .... so we don't go! We have a boat and go out on the water ocassionally .... but haven't really gone and sat on the beach in years! Oh, last year hubby and I did a Heart Walk event on the beach and I did one with a friend last year too. I love the beach .... very peaceful at certain times of the day and I could sit and stare at the Ocean for hours .... just never go over there much anymore. We enjoy it when we take the boat out .... go to lunch at a restaurant called Seaharvest on the water in New Smyrna Beach. They have a nice little covered eating area on a deck and they have great Grouper Sandwiches and Hush Puppies! But, we usually head down the Intracoastal waterway and I use my cell phone to call ahead with our order and we tie up at their dock and hubby goes in and gets lunch .... then we go back and anchor at an island in the intracoastal waterway and eat lunch. We only take the boat out during week days when hubby isn't teaching. There is so much boat traffic on the waters on weekends that I don't like being out there.

Well ... I am just ramblin aren't I?? Will stop now!

Susan: My youngest Sister lives in Kennesaw .... is that anywhere near you? I flew into Atlanta and she picked me up at the airport. I don't drive that long distance!

Kennesaw is about 65 miles west of me...I think ....lol it is up interstate 75. It is beautiful there, my daughter graduated from Kennesaw State College. So I am very familiar with the area!

It is really hot here as well. The poor plants seem to wilts at the drop of a hat. We water and the moisture just drys up so fast.

My daughter took me to the store yesterday. I had checked out and was waiting for her to come back in and help me to the car. I felt an arm around my shoulder and someone said is this my Mom. When I looked arouind it was my DD from Ga. that I had no idea was coming. It really was a suprise to see her.

It seems a lot of you have relatives in my wonderful State!!! Where is Ga. Makshi? What a wonderful surprise!

Yikes, I haven't turned in my card.................must do that..............dstarz and I separated babie avs from the moms yesterday.....................it is tedious work and we had fun .............paying the price today (LOL)..............let me see if i can hyperlink all the ones she took home last night at 9 pm...............I just can't stand to not get those babies............and grown plants that I don't have shelves for anymore.............
