Here are the simple rules:
I will list here 30 different plants. Each person picks 15 for their list and sends it to Rose318. I will be getting the list ready today I hope and will post it later. Everyone needs to have their list in by Mon. 13 at Midnight and we will start the calls on the 14th. If this isn't clear let me know since I have never tried this before.

someone will hold your card if you can't for a while.................I am going out of town next week and will probably give my card to someone for a few days..........
I will let the cardholder ??? tell everyone the rules...............or the hostess will give the rules............basically she puts down about 25 or 30 names of plants.................she makes calls every day...........like bingo..................you pick out your 15 plants and send your list to the cardholder who okays the bingos......................someone will explain...........just sign up for now.........(you have just signed up by posting on this thread)

I counted and this leaf growing is out of control.
I currently have 49 corsage clear mini greenhouses with at least 5 to 6 leaves growing in each one.
Currently I have about 20 leaves that have to be divided into plantlets............Rain is going to send me some at this state to show me how to send without hurting the babies..........so I always have these to send..............I have ordered over 150 outstanding leaves that are growing...........some ready and some not.............
**********I want you to know that i bought my granddaughter a stand from Walmart for only 9.95 that is plastic and is 22" wide and 52" tall...............Then i bought gro lights for the 3 shelves that are 24" wide.............for practically nothing.............you can find space for 22" wide..........also they had the good stands for 39.00 which look like chrome but they are 36" wide and i couldn't find 36" fixtures of gro lights...........

Amazing!! That is a very large amount of soon to be babies you have growing Miss Gail! I wish I had the space to grow out leaves like that!

Gessie-- What type of medium do you use? My daughter just bought me 10 florist long stem rose boxes that sorta have the thumbs snaps to close them. Do you put holes in the top and /or bottom? How far from the lights do they need to be? I think I feel a propatgaion sickness coming on. Thanks, Lou

***********alert.............I know that this is the Bingo thread, but we all need to be uploading photos of any gesneriads we have pictures of..........we want our plant files to be really 'snazzy'.................don't be afraid...........I made 4 big mistakes the other day when I did it...........as people pointed out the mistakes, I turned in an error report and got it corrected immediately............we don't have to be perfect (LOL)
******edited to say that if you only know the cultivar and have a picture, you can still comment on that section about the plant............................any of us who have access to the AVSA master file can come behind you and fill in the official AVSA description in your comment box.................don't be afraid like i was for 7 months.............

Just sent my card in to Rose318/Patti .... Can't wait for the game to begin! I looked up photo's of each of the plants listed. I couldn't find pic's of the Begonia's but put one on my card anyway cause I liked the name!) I want every thing on my list!
I will be starting a new thread for the calls the first of the week.

Here is where the begonia names came from. I love the shape and color of the leaves. I just had to add them to the list. I get most of my plants because I like the way they look.
