CLOSED: What is this spearmint and lavender fan?

I've got a bazillion of these brown and orange moths. They certainly favor the mint and lavender over the butterfly bushes. Same for the cabbage moths and a smaller orange and brown moth that I'm having the devil of a time photographing.

Thanks for the compliments on the photo but they should really go to the subject who let me get fairly close and patiently held his wings open for a considerable length of time.
