Celeste, when do your DL's finally stop? Which varieties are the latest blooming? (See, we can talk about gardening sometimes too!)

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I never get tired of looking at your great photos, Celeste.

Victor is QUICK!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I write my responses in advance. Thank you!

We'll have to ask Mrs Vi....never mind

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Amazingly quick!!

Even though we may be in 4th place, we still rock!! I think we are the friendliest Forum, too.

And when there are no flower photos to post, we can post photos of our indoor renovations, like pirl. Heaven knows I have quite a bit of THAT planned ...

Or maybe someone could start a 'how to' with tons of photos to go along with it. Like, "How to transplant daylilies". At least we'd be somewhat on topic, and we'd be teaching the newbies (like me!).

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

hee hee.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Victor, I have one daylily that is appropriately named "Autumn Blaze" and it has no problem proving it. Also "Fat Lady Sings" hasn't opened one bloom yet and I really like that one.

Thanks Pirl, I wish you'd post more of your DL's.....but warn me first so I can get my bib on!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

'Fat Lady Sings' - gotta love that name.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I like that name, too.

I've been taking more shots of each section of the daylily gardens so I can see the ones to be deleted.

We are in the NEW Dave's Garden. Did you notice that the tabs at the top of the site have changed?

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Yeah, Cat. It will take a bit of getting used to for me. I haven't tried any of them but the 'Home' tab.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

The only real big change I noticed is that Garden Diary is now Garden Blog.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Hmmmm ... haven't seen that yet. Guess I'll check it now.

Oh great - I have to learn these tabs all over again? Yes or No?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Kind of - everything is there - just condensed onto less tabs.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Something strange with Dmail today: I was in the midst of sending one but had to find a photo as the buzzer went off for the dryer so I was delayed in getting back. When I finished and hit "send" it told me the Dmail never existed. Twilight Zone music should have been playing in the background!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I wonder if you got caught in the switch over to the new format? Do you dmail now? If not - dmail Dave.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

How will he get the message if Dmail isn't working??

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

It does work but I guess I just can't stop for the dryer while a Dmail waits to be finished.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

So now it's the dryer's fault?

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Or the fault of dirty clothes that need washing and drying.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I had a coworker once, she and her husband were real computer fanatics. They each had seperate rooms and computers and would email each other, rather than get up and go to the other room.

She told me once she heard the dryer go off, and emailed her husband to fold the clothes.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thats too funny!! DS will be outside and call me on his cell phone to ask me to come out and see what else I want done! I thought that was bad...but being in the same house is crazy!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I text my wife to ask her to pass the salt.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Pixie, I want a DS just like that! He's working outside for you, offering to do more, considerate of not tracking dirt in. What do you bribe him with, and is he for rent?

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

I only communicate with my spouse by fax.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Dave that's a good idea, get everything in writing!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Polly,
He even vacumes on an almost daily basis.....we're working on that.
He takes the garbage to the dump every week with out being reminded, and he helps me mow the lawn. Now he would mow it all but there are some area's that you need to use the push mower. Around my flower beds and fruit tree's I tend to be picky so I do it myself.
Sorry but he's not for rent......I need him this summer more than I need a new plant. That should tell you something right there!!
