We have a few Chokecherry Trees in our yard and they are covered with these very small flies. The worst thing about these things is they bite and bite hard sometimes drawing blood. Does anyone have any ideas. We are ready to get rid of the trees or start spraying.

Your picture is a little hard to see, so take a look and see what you think of these Lace Bugs. I don't know about them biting people, though. They like Cherry trees and kind of look like your bug.
