CLOSED: Beautiful new garden visitor?

Metro Kansas City, KS(Zone 5b)

I've never seen one of these in my garden before. He was very cooperative and hung out on the rose and yew while I got my camera but flew away when I tried to get closer for a better picture.

It's very beautiful!

I'm guessing it's a Red-Spotted Purple Admiral

Thank you so much for identifying my lovely visitor. I found a site that said they enjoy rotting fruit, particularly melon rinds, so I put some honeydew rinds out hoping some more pretty guests will drop by.

I took a picture of a butterfly on one of my tomato plants. I thought it was the same kind of butterfly at first, but I believe this is a different one?

It is different ...

My guess is a Spicebush Swallowtail
