CLOSED: Cute Bug In A Fur Coat

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

I saw this little fella on my daylily yesterday.
I have looked through the first 9 pages of this forum to see if anyone has posted a picture and don't seem to find any.
He was very tiny and had on a "furish" coat.
I don't grow any vegetables so it's probably not a "veggie" type of bug.
I'm assuming it's a good bug because I only saw one and usually if it's a bad bug there's LOTS *lol*
When I went to touch him he jumped (higher than a grasshopper) and I never saw where he landed.

I was able to capture the next 2 shots but he was so small that they may be too distant to ID.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Oh I would like to know also. I could never capture a picture when I saw him either. He does jump very high!

Gypsy, you saw one too? Were you able to capture any pictures? Cute little guy huh?

yep I saw him and nope I didn't have my camera with me :-( . I was wondering who he was and what he did. Very odd little bug. I couldn't believe how high he jumped when I tried to get a little closer. I hope someone can ID him. I'd like to know what he is too.

Was it walking when you saw it? Kinda wobbling while it walked?

Yes, he kinda wobbled but very quickly. As I was trying to get his picture he's go from on side of the scape to the other to try to hide. And when he jumped!! WOW, higher than a grasshopper!! Cute little thing :)

It looks like it might be a planthopper nymph of some sort ... that would explain the high jump too
