Does anyone have a picture

Amelia Island, FL(Zone 9a)

of a Eugenia Myrtifolia "Globulus" (Monterey Bay) Syzygium Paniculatum? I have a tree that the owner considered "dead and not worth the time or effort to try to bring back".

Needless to say I took the tree, told the owner I was going to bring it back to life and she wasn't getting the tree back....tree murderer.......Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

The tree looked completely dead when I brought it home 2 weeks ago. No leaves, no green to the stems, everything just snapped off. I placed in morning sun and afternoon shade, watered and watered. Then put a light fertilizer on it and watered some more. Didn't want the shock the plant. The tree sucked down about 3 gallons of water the first watering. :(

Note - I had no idea the name of the plant until today when the previous "owner " found a card with the name of the plant on it.

The owner is on my list of "you shouldn't be allowed to purchase, much less own, plants because - "gee not only do you a rotten thumb, but it's rotten alll the way to the elbow" list.

Amazing what happens when you - oh I don't know - water your plants.

I've found pics of it being a topiary, but nothing with the flowers and the berries it's supposed to have. Does anyone know what it's supposed to look like? Any tips on growing?

Here's a link to some good basic info on them...should be a good place to start anyway.
