Don't change the hand! I like it there. It adds variety. Plus, it gives me a good idea about the scale of everything, duh.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

LOL Harper, DD needs the "scale" too, thats how it all started.

Let's see how versatile you are, Celeste. Use your right hand and snap the photo with your left!

Celeste, I like the hand too.....helps to give some size perspective!

By the way, thanks to you, I have just finished cooking a pot of ham, fresh green beans and red norland potatoes...........supper will be really gooooooooood tonight!! Yummmm. My DH is down at the lake swimming, so I guess I have to be patient and wait for him until supper time.....:)

Hey Vic, I promised pictures of the vining Zuchini, It is an Italian variety, with an Italian name, I call it Trombone Zuchinni for obvious reasons! Even when they a 20" long they very few seed in the bulb. Great tast and works will in my garden where I have very little space.

This is the garlic I harvested this week. Only 64 heads from a 4 x4 bed, so I plant 3 beds. It still is not enough!

TD - that garlic looks terrific! I need to plant some more. Do you let it winter over?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Looks great TD. Love that garlic. I love roasting it and spreading it on Italian Bread. Heaven!

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

I grew garlic for the first this past season too. I planted it in October and harvested it when the lower leaves started to brown. What a difference in taste when you use fresh garlic.

My 'Reliance' grapes are almost ready. They are pink, seedless, table grapes. The vine is 4 years old, it gave me a handful of fruit last year. They need another week, I hope the birds don't find them.
