OMG...they are wonderful, aren't they? I have 10 plants, different colours. They steal all the attention every year. Here is one of them...
Are they duds or buds?
Gorgeous! Which one is that? I assume you have a normal sized hand, correct?
lol...yup...normal sized hand...Have no idea which one it is...one of the garden centers up here a few years back had them in the reduced annuals section for 99 cents each, no tags.......I, of course, bought all they had since I recognized them for what they really were......
Wow - what a steal!
And they bigger and better every year!!! They are really late sprouting though....just when you think they are dead...give em 2 more weeks....lol
Your first one might be 'Luna Pink Swirl'.

I tried to find it once, thought it was something like Texas Rose, or rose of Texas...I think it's too light to be "Luna Pink Swirl"...I wish there was a way when looking in Plant Files too separate these from the Tropical Hibiscuses....360 pages!!!
Okay where I live I am sure we can't grow anything that BIG LOL - no comments Victor cause I am only talking plants here. Honestly though I have never seen a flower that big!!!
I passed some that big on the way to Target tonight and I was like "WOW" look at those. I almost caused my hubby to crash my car. My tulips were wonderful this year. Tranplanted glads that I replanted last year in an anything goes garden-kinda like if it grows ok if not so what?? They are gorgeous. My garden phlox was the worst disappointment. Here's some "flowers" doing wonderfully....ha ha This before anything grew. I have so much work to do in this yard.
They're so sweet, flowerjen. Are they part of the Tarda group of tulips? They lasted here for many years until I disturbed them.
Did your Phlox have mildew, Jen?
Thanks for the explanation ngam! I like it! In fact, I am like it! I'm no good in the a.m. either!!
Harper
Pirl, I have no idea, sorry. They are one of the only tulips I've seen so far that needs to be in the shade.
Victor, nope no mildew.
