Thanks!! Karla it was given to me as 'black currant whirl' I think they are one in the same!! It flowered first year of sowing for me.

Thanks Joseph. The fence in the back is supposed to be covered but the darn Japanese ones just don't grow as fast, Next year I am doing heavenly blue all across it!!
