Tim & Erin - THE VISIT

They visited me in my home yesterday and I was thrilled to bits!! What a charming, friendly and lovely couple. Erin is so sweet and I think she is quite taken with VA since they announced they would be moving here next year. Florida's loss, Virginia's gain!! I was overwhelmed with Tim's generosity - he came laden and I mean laden. What a truly big heart he has. Five passifloras and two crape myrtles!! I was astounded as one vine was about 5 feet. Can't praise or say enough about them. I loved them and they will visit again on Sunday before heading back to Florida. So Tim and Erin, big hugs and big thankyous from the bottom of my heart, not just for the plants but for taking the time out of your busy schedule to come and say hello. It meant so much to me :-)

I never thought of it like that eyes but since you mention it you are absolutely correct. It sure is the culmination of a wonderful summer - the icing on the cake :-)

I'm so glad I found this sight and hear about how much people care for one another and always looking out for one another!!! Like the rest of the world sould be!!!
(But..... Louisa,.... remember last week... when Tim went over to Mzm's when she was away.... all her plants.... well, I'm sure he didn;t bring you THOSE plants! tee-hee!)

jeanne I promise you that Tim did not bring me MM's plants...lol!! Another thing - not only did he bring the plants he also must have spent an age running off and copying what is literally a book on passiflora and it's cultivation and presented me with that too. So you see what I mean about him!!

Trish how far away from them are you? I was told by someone that Florida was about the same size as England - is this true? I really hope you get the chance to meet them. Quite an experience :-)

Just a last update on the 'visit'. Tim and Erin came by yesterday and so did Erin's brother and sister-in-law who are going to be building only about 15 mins away from my house!! Now that's a turn-up for the books!! Another lovely and very friendly couple! Tim and Erin came to say goodbye and were on their way back to Florida via Williamsburg. It really was such a wonderful experience to meet the Passiflora King!!! There are many storms raging through today, we had a pretty violent one about 2 hours ago, so I hope they have a safe journey home. Come back soon Tim and Erin, we did so enjoy your time with us :-)

We have returned to Florida! We had a wonderful time in Virginia! We truly enjoyed visiting with Louisa. She is a wonderful hostess and a very kind friend! We were able to meet her kitties and husband too - A lovely family indeed! And a lovely home as well!

During our visits we shared pictures, stories, tea, and delicious cake. Mmmmm.... just thinking about Louisa's cakes makes me so hungry! I even was able to take home leftovers! Yummy! Louisa's DH is a lucky man - she is a great cook!

Louisa is right, we are going move to Virginia next August (after I finish school). Both Tim and I love it there. Tim keeps talking about all of the plants that he can grow there...especially Japenese Maples! Virginia seems like the best place for us. My brother and his wife live there, and my parents have agreed to move with us as soon as they can. In addition, my best friend is in the process of moving an hour east of the area and we have Louisa there as well! We can't ask for any more!

Louisa, thank you so much for inviting us into your home. We had a wonderful time visiting and can't wait to return!
