Hi. These bugs are on the underside of a strawberry tree leaf. The plant also has a whitefly problem. But what is this? They look like they are attached to leaf with suckers, but the topside doesn't show damage. I think they may be left behind by a moth. Or not. I've never seen anything like this before.

I can't tell for sure, but they remind me of the casings that ladybugs hatch out of...I've just never seen a group of them together like this. Colonies of casings usually mean bad guy bugs...solitary casings usually mean good guy bugs.
