I only took a pic as I only saw 2 blooms. I didn't want to mess with it. I didn't see any seeds.
Found on sanibel Beach in Fl
I'm pretty sure this is Ipomoea pes-caprae:

I used to live in Sarasota and would see them growing on the dunes at the beach on Lido Key. They are cool. You can reproduce them easily with cuttings.
I am looking closely at these leaves and I don't think it is pes-caprae. The leaves look different. Here are the pes-caprae leaves:

I have both Ipomoea pes-caprae and I. acuminata. Ipomoea pes-caprae has very thick leaves and the leaves are always 'round'. The stems are always bright green, until they get woody, then have have bark.
I like Ipomoea pes-caprae better. It doesn't grow as fast as acuminata, flowers more often and it just easier to grow.
You're right--it's not I. pes-caprae. I should have enlarged the pic. I think it is I. hederacea based on the leaves. I remember seeing this plant not by the beach but inland. I used to drive over to Arcadia and saw it growing on a fence in a rural area there. It can have blue, fuchsia, or pink flowers.
That I. acuminata is beautiful. Where did you get seeds for it?

Paracelsus, it doesn't make seed for me, I have had it for years and have only found 3 seeds and they weren't fertile. I grow it from cuttings. Where ever it touches the ground it will root.
The plant posted here

is
Ipomoea indica
