This was on the glass storm door this morning. It's 1.25 inches wing tip to tip.
I love it when they sleep on the glass, I can get both sides.
I should keep the glass cleaner, though.
Any ideas?

I think it's this Showy Emerald Moth... there are very similar moths, but yours has the black dots and fringe

Geez, you're good. Yes, that sure looks like it. They don't have an underside shot so I'll send one of mine in.
I was able to get lots of cool shots of this one. It's still there on the glass, 9 hours later.
